Pit in the Woods is an off-road, GP style endurance race exclusively made for pit bikes! You will have the opportunity to race your way through the track and trails of Washougal Mx Park. Classes are split by bike size ranging from 50cc to 140cc, we are even including an E-Bike Open class. You will have the option between an hour long amateur course and an hour and a half long master course. So get your pit bikes ready and we will see you there!
A pit bike is any air-cooled 4-stroke, 200cc or less. 19" wheels or smaller. A KLX140 is the biggest stock CC, anything above that is considered mod.
Amateur vs. Master: The amateur course is a 1-hour long race made for Beginners and low-level Junior riders. The master course is a 1.5-hour long race made for Pros, Intermediates, and upper-level Juniors.
Stock vs. Mod: At Pit in the Woods, any bike that has a modified engine and/or exhaust is considered mod. If your bike has a stock motor and exhaust, but modified handlebars, pegs, wheels, or even suspension it is still considered stock. (There will be inspectors on the line checking for any unfair advantages).
E-Bikes: E-Bikes are only allowed in the E-Bike Open class. No Starks, Altas, or any full-sized bike. E-Bikes can only race the 1-hour amateur course due to battery life.
Eligible E-Bikes:
Open classes*: Open simply means that any bike from 50cc-140cc is allowed in that class. Mod bikes are allowed in open classes. Youth, Vet, and Womens are open classes.
2 Class Rule: If you are a master level rider in the E-Bike open class(which will be on the amateur course), you can still race the master course aboard a normal pit bike. This also applies to the 90cc and below class. For example, you can race an XR80 in the 90cc and below class on the amateur course and then race any of the classes you are eligible for on the master course. These are the only exceptions!
NO 2-STROKES!
